After discovering that her boyfriend is married, Cameron Diaz tries to get her ruined life back on track. Diaz is a lawyer at a powerful firm, but her prowess in law does not prevent her from being swept off her feet by a dashing business guy. When she accidentally meets the wife he’s been cheating on (Leslie Mann), she realizes they have much in common, and her sworn enemy becomes her greatest friend. 

When yet another affair is discovered by Kate Upton, all three women team up to plot mutual revenge on their cheating men. The joy of watching this kind of movie comes from seeing such a smooth operator go down as his schemes are revealed and destroyed. The plot is brought in an outright funny manner, and who is better placed than Diaz to crack your ribs? For a while, Diaz and Mann make for a likable odd couple as co-conspirators—two women who couldn’t be more different clashing and connecting as they unite for a common cause.

Their doubts and decisions come from recognizable places. But then there’s a third woman whose introduction unfortunately throws the whole movie into wacky, slapstick territory. Thumbs up The Other Woman is a hilarious movie that has its own wonky charm and intermittent moments of genuine, depraved humour, whose directions and blocking leave you glued to the screen. Being her first on-screen role, Nicki Minaj delivers one of the few consistent pleasures. What better place to get wardrobe inspiration as well.

Cameron Diaz's movie 'The Other Woman' beat Captain America: The Winter Soldier, off the top spot, and has been receiving pretty positive reviews. Also, Diaz spoke about her movie 'Sex Tape,' out in July, with the New York Times.Diaz said, "The script isn't just the sex fantasy of it all. It's still a story about people who love one another." She also added that she and frequent co-star Jason Segel, "Oh, after this movie, we are real comfortable."

Diaz has been been hanging out a lot with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden at her Hollywood home, according to People magazine. When spotted at an Equinox gym in Los Angeles, they seemed "very friendly". Page Six sources say Madden is already "madly in love" with the "Sex Tape" actress. Diaz, 41, and Madden, 35, have been dating for a few weeks. They were introduced by Nicole Richie, a close friend of "The Other Woman" star and wife of Madden's twin brother and band member, Joel Madden.

A source told Page Six, "Benji is madly in love with Cameron, but she wants to take it slow - he isn't her usual type. He has dated a lot of Nicole's friends in the past but Nicole really wants this one to work." Madden previously dated Nicole's former BFF Paris Hilton, former Hugh Hefner girlfriend Holly Madison, and Australian model Sophie Monk, to whom he was engaged until 2008. Diaz has famously been linked to Matt Dillon, Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez. She recently revealed that she is completely comfortable with her single status.

Diaz said earlier this year, "I think that some married people have made the choice to get married, but when they see a person who is living a different way, it makes them stop and think, 'Wait a second - you mean you don't need to get married after all?' " However, she added, "I'm totally down for love. And I now know that what is most attractive in a man to me is authenticity . . . I am attracted to someone who knows who he is."
